To answer your question, the protests - which I was proud to take part in - didn't change anything about Trump. But it did allow the country to see the depths of opposition to this most un-Christian president. I've often said....You can't square Jesus Christ with Donald Trump. It can't be done. He and his policies are cruel, hateful, and mean-spirited. His stunning lack of good character has long been on display for anyone who wants to pay attention. Look at his refusal to even make a courtesy call to the governor of Minnesota, after one of his supporters killed Democrats there. Look at his petty refusal to hang an official portrait of Barack Obama in the White House, as every other president has done for predecessors. This is a man who only cares for the adoring reflection he sees in his golden mirrors. As Americans, Christians, or just decent, humble people trying to navigate the difficulties of life, we must take every opportunity we have to get in the streets, speak out, wave our signs, and let our friends and neighbors know how we feel. He is, simply, a hater, a liar, and a fascist. Resistance is not just an option, it's a necessity. And it will produce good.
